Global Rubidium Atomic Clock Market Overview:

An atomic clock is the most accurate human measurement device. In an atomic clock, the atom acts as the pendulum of the clock. When an electron inside an atom transits between two energy levels, it either emits or absorbs an energy quantum of a precise frequency, which is related to the energy difference between the two atomic levels. Rubidium atomic clock is a standard of frequency and time of high precision. The atomic clocks of rubidium, the simplest and most compact of other atomic clocks, use a rubidium glass cell that alters its absorption of light at the optical frequency of rubidium when the surrounding microwave frequency is perfect. The atomic clock is a precision clock whose operation depends on an electric oscillator regulated by the natural vibration frequencies of an atomic system.

The rubidium atomic clock is a frequency standard in which a specific hyperfine transition of electrons is used in rubidium-87 atoms to control the output frequency. It is the most economical, compact and widespread atomic clock used to control the frequency of television stations, cell phone base stations, test equipment and global satellite navigation systems such as GPS Rubidium commercial clocks. But these clocks are less accurate than caesium atomic clocks, which serve as primary frequency patterns, making the rubidium clock as a secondary frequency standard. However, rubidium sources are in development and are even more stable than clocks with caesium source.

Global Rubidium Atomic Clock Market Insights:

The new algorithm reduces the sensitivity to external disturbances, allows easy blocking at startup and allows the implementation of a unique retention mode. This allows the internal oscillator to work with the last memorized frequency when the blocking is lost. These characteristics make the rubidium frequency standards very smart. In addition, the microprocessor allows the user to access internal parameters that allow a very precise control of the digital frequency in a wide range. The accuracy of an atomic clock depends on two factors. The first factor is the temperature of the sample. The cooler atoms move much more slowly, allowing longer probe times. The second factor is the frequency and intrinsic width of the electronic transition along with higher frequencies and accuracy.
