One of the shining success stories of India’s internet-fuelled entrepreneurial boom, Myntra, is known for constant innovations, rapidly expanding consumer and retailer base, and, of course, for their excellent customer care services. Speaking purely from an analytical approach, Myntra’s success can directly be equated to their pro-activeness. A recent deal with popular TV channel Zoom, a part of Times India group, only proved once more why it pays to be proactive. The new avatar of Zoom will be called ‘Zoom styled by Myntra’, and it aims to construct a style destination across all media platforms
The partnership will manifest itself on the television network in the form of newly developed web series, exciting new show formats, and exclusive events. Zoom is one of the most well-known entertainment channels, specializing in innovative show formats revolving around news and characters from the Indian Film Industry.
Since Bollywood has always been revered to the point of obsession by the masses, the tradition has extended itself in modern contexts too. Clothes donned by film stars continue to be extremely popular in India. This is where Myntra comes in, equipped with several exclusive deals for you. As we are all well aware, a lot of famous celebrities have their companies listed on Myntra. Myntra calls this “buy it as you see it”.
MK Anand, CEO of Times group, has said that the principle idea behind this joining of forces was “innovating with content and triggering new conversations to find relevance with the changing consuming pattern of the youth”
Myntra has enjoyed phenomenal success in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. This can be attributed to excellent penetration, since a lot of these towns do not boast of big brand showrooms. However, thanks to Myntra’s excellent delivery system, these towns now have access to top global brands. Additionally, the wardrobe for the new shows in Zoom will be styled by Myntra. This well planned deal has all the makings of being very profitable, fruitful and progressive for both parties.
