Dates: Opening ceremony on 6th April 2018, first match on 7th April 2018 and the final match on 27th May 2018.

IPL is famous for finding and encouraging budding players, so there is tons of talent to watch out for. With 48 matches spread over 51 days and across 9 venues, IPL is quite a happening event to be part of. Mumbai will be hosting the opening ceremony of IPL which, in the past, has featured international entertainers like Akon, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Pitbull and many more, making it an awesome event for the music lovers as well. Mumbai will also be hosting the first match of this season and the last one as well. If you are a cricket enthusiast, you just cannot miss out on IPL.
Event: Women Rulz Half Marathon Edition – 2
Venue: Castella de Aguada, Bandra West, Mumbai
Dates: 1st April 2018
About: This marathon is exclusively for women. You can participate or cheer for the participants from the side-lines. This marathon features 3 runs: 5km, 10km and 21km. If you are a seasoned marathon runner, the 21km run would be perfect for you, whereas if you are new on the scene and looking to test the waters, then the 5 km run should fit you just right. The marathon is a celebration of feminism, so if you are a feminist, then this event should be on your ‘to-visit’ list for sure.
Event: Gaming Hunt FIFA 18 Championship
Venue: (Yet to be announced), Mumbai
Dates: 12-13th May 2018
About: Gaming hunt is a must-attend event for a ‘Video-Gaming’ enthusiast. The platform for this year’s event is ‘PlayStation 4’, and the prize pool is a whopping Rs. 1,00,000/-. The event is held in three cities across India, which are NewDelhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai, and brings the world of competitive gaming together in a powerful and exciting way. Event: Pro- 40 Cricket Championship
Venue: Azad Cricket Coaching Centre Cross-maidan Churchgate, Mumbai
Date: 30th April 2018 onwards.
About: Unlike regular Cricket events, Pro-40 Cricket Championship is only for the men who are 40 or above. After going through different trials, only 176 players are selected to play in the tournament. The players of this championship are a perfect personification of ‘following your passion’ and prove how age is just a number! Event: Football Tournament by FeugoTormento
Venue: Malcolm Baug, Western Suburbs, Mumbai
Date: 8th April 2018
About: The world is going crazy over football and Mumbai isn’t far behind! A registered football club of Mumbai, FeugoTormento, is organizing a local football tournament. Here, 16 teams of U-17 players will compete against each other for the prize money of Rs. 10,000/- and a trophy. For a football enthusiast, it’ll be quite difficult to not attend this event.
